The Family Stability Network (FASTN) is a charity dedicated to helping people have healthy, fulfilling relationships, and plays an important part in providing information, tools, ideas and inspiration to make that possible. Status is the online presence for FASTN, aimed at 16-25 year olds. Status believes that young people are capable of achieving fulfilling and healthy relationships, and that we can provide the tools and advice to make that possible.
Status Online publishes a minimum of eight pieces of content per month – either listicles, articles, blogs or quizzes. The content creator’s job is to write content which is empowering, engaging and educational. The role of Status is to offer young people aged 16-25 advice about relationships in a way that should make them think about their relationships, and possibly even change the way they approach their relationships. The content should not be patronising or preachy but should be thought-provoking and perhaps even challenging.
Listicles and blogs should be written within 2-3 hours including editing time.
Quizzes are given 3-4 hours including editing time.
Payment: £15 per hour.
This role is offered on a freelance basis, therefore the successful applicant will be responsible for their own income and national insurance tax contributions. Invoices should be submitted to the Content Editor by email before the 5th of each month.
If you are interested in becoming a content creator, or if you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to email Alex Birch, the Content Editor for Status Online, at [email protected]
